In collaboration with Muriel Mambrini (INRA Jouy en Josas) our team has set the AMAGEN platform for fish transgenesis (GIS CNRS/INRA AMAGEN, http://www.amagen.cnrs-gif.fr). The purpose of this platform is to provide to various laboratories an integrated service, from plasmid constructs (cloning service : Aurélie Heuzé, Zlatko Radev) to the test of regulatory elements and high-throughput phenotyping (phenotyping service: Sylvia Bruneau), the establishment of stable transgenic lines, and the storage of these lines (at the INRA campus, Jouy en Josas).
The platform also develops a method for targeted transgenesis in the medaka (Aurélie Heuzé, Zlatko Radev, Matthieu Simion, Frédéric Sohm).
The platform participates to several networks:
- The TEFOR infrastructure founded an ANR grant Grand Emprunt
- RESAMA (network on functional studies on model animals, Jean-Stéphane Joly),
-TGIR CELPHEDIA (person in charge : Yann Hérault),
- and the European network ZF-MODEL.
